2011 Oregon Manifest Bicycle

For the 2011 edition of the Oregon Manifest I decided to build a bike to meet my personal goals transportation wise, and aesthetically.
The contest specified a need for the bike to support itself while holding cargo. I developed a simple stand that pivoted on a custom skewer. When needed, the stand simply folded down from its storage under the front rack, forming a tripod like base and suspending the front wheel.
A security system was the second requirement that I chose to focus on. With a limited budget and tooling I modified a lock designed for computer security, the lock extends from within the seat tube to extend around any stationary object you would lock to with a conventional lock.
